Taryn has been dancing since she was four years old. For 14 years she danced both recreationally and competitively at Linda’s Dance Works in Berkley, MI. She is trained in all areas of dance including jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, pointe, lyrical and modern. While at the studio, Taryn had the opportunity to teach for recreational classes and choreograph pieces for their annual recital. Through different competitions she had the opportunity to take plenty of workshops taught by top choreographers including Ellenore Scott, Kobi Rozenfeld and Kavita Rao. She also was on her high school varsity dance team and they performed for basketball game half times. Taryn is currently studying at Michigan State University working on her degree towards speech pathology. While there, she is a part of the MSU Dance Club, serving as the level two coordinator and is also a part of a modern company at Michigan State called Orchasis. Taryn enjoys snowboarding in the winter and volunteering at a special needs camp in the summer.
